OPERATING-LEASING

This is the most common form of leasing contract in our country. In operating leasing, the object of the contract belongs to the property of the financing party (lessor) and is only "leased" to the customer. The lessor recognizes depreciation expenses, and the user (lessee) can claim the full amount of the lease payments as a tax-deductible expense. At the end of the lease, the user acquires the leased asset for an amount equal to the final amount and not less than the hypothetical net value of the asset. The contract term for operating leases depends on the depreciation rate and generally ranges from 18 to 60 months.

FINANCIAL LEASING

A form of leasing in which the subject of the contract becomes the property of the user and at the same time remains the property of the leasing company. The depreciation costs are recognized by the user, who at the same time can record the interest portion of the lease payment as a tax-deductible expense. The leased asset is transferred to the customer for a period that approximates its useful life. The minimum term of the finance lease is 12 months. Upon the final lease payment (after settlement of all liabilities under the lease), ownership of the asset is transferred to the user.

OFF-BALANCE SHEET OPERATING LEASE

A financial product that complies with the Accounting Act and the Income Tax Act. It is not included in the user's balance sheet and does not adversely affect debt ratios. This solution is very advantageous for customers who are not interested in acquiring the leased asset at the end of the contract.

LOAN

A financial product that is an alternative to a bank loan. The loan can be used for the purchase of any asset. This product can be especially interesting for entrepreneurs who co-finance their investments from EU subsidies. The procedures for considering loan applications are similar to those used for lease financing. In practice, this means that workflows are simplified, decisions on granting financing are made in a short time, and transaction securities are lower than when applying for a bank loan. Throughout the term of the contract, the customer owns the asset - so it is he who depreciates it and records the interest portion of the payment as a tax-deductible expense.
