Our customer is a leading company in the packaging industry with extensive machinery consisting of mostly German machines. Due to the obvious and continuously growing demand for high-quality packing here in Russia, the company was forced to turn down lucrative orders based on a lack of machine capacity.

The customer was able to benefit from the experience of Deutsche Leasing Vostok in the area of press leasing. By selecting a high-performance flexo press with a purchase price of about 1.5 million Euros at DDU conditions, the perfect equipment was found soon to be able to take on the expected additional business. The company had its own funds to purchase the equipment, but in order to protect its cash flow, did not want to use the money. The interest rates of banks were too high, so the company relied on the competency of Deutsche Leasing Vostok.

The first-class partnership with a flexo equipment manufacturer enabled us to provide our customer with an attractive, customized leasing offer. A down payment of 15% of the equipment value was agreed-upon, with a monthly leasing rate of 27053 Euros and a term of 60 months. After adding up all the costs for the customer, a spread of only 4.64% p.a. versus immediate purchase with own funds resulted. Therefore, it was easy for our customer to pay the leasing costs with the expected additional sales.

Through close and trusting cooperation with Deutsche Leasing Vostok, our customer was able to realize a clear increase in sales and profits. This increase was big enough to invest in further development of the company’s own packaging products. The flexo press making this possible will be fully owned by our customer after 5 years and after paying a symbolic takeover price.
