Any information or data should be classified as sensitive if unauthorized access or manipulation would cause grave damage, e.g. significant loss of repudiation or impending contractual penalty.

Federal Data Protection Act). Deutsche Leasing can send and receive encrypted e-mails using the internet standards S/Mime as well as OpenPGP.

The operator of your e-mail infrastructure can provide you information on whether you can use secure e-mail and which encryption standards your infrastructure supports.

We also offer the option of using the SecureMail Messenger if you use neither standard.
